Being aware of ones place in the world of (dirt and air) is sometimes a difficult task. Beyond domestics, advanced livestock, medicines, sex and hobbies there exists a need to nurture ones position with the “everything”.
The artwork I make is emulating and exploring my surroundings, riffing with whatever I find within my day to day. Hammering and  mirroring the hilarious and equally sad sides of life.  Making head way on the images I paint is as important as destroying them or totally interrupting them with another piece of information.
Music, teenage spirit, displacement, enlightenment, and modern rural mysticism are at the core of my work. The images channel the times of my life, incorporating the past and future like a field recording.  Much of my work is inspired by my youth, being exposed to punk rock, skate zines, mix tapes and all the visual elements of those cultures.
My paintings, sculptures and videos have been shown across the u.s., and most recently at Lump Gallery
Projects in Raleigh, N.C.
