Yann Le Bec

Yann Le Bec, born in 1985.
Lives and works in Paris ; France

Yann Le Bec is a Paris-based artist, painter, illustrator and comic book author.

In a realistic and instinctive style, inspired by multiple universes, such as comics, classical painting or even cinema, he practices drawing daily, on notepads or canvases, using acrylic, ink, watercolor or pencil, but also digital. Equally comfortable in monochrome as in color, he offers through raw portraits, landscapes and still lifes full of nuances a sensitive and aesthetic vision of the reality that surrounds him, of our life and of the passing of time.

After a BTS in visual communication and a Master's degree in illustration at the Royal College of Arts in London, Yann draws for the press, with illustrations for M Le Monde, Télérama, L'Obs, and for brands such as Dior. At the same time, he participates in several exhibitions, including "Les Amis" at the Albus Gallery in Seoul, the Alice Gallery in Brussels, or "Caterpillar" at the Slika gallery in Lyon. In 2023, his first comic strip, L'Ami, was released by Dupuis.
